Toastmasters club in North PlatteTell North Platte what you think

The Flatrock Toastmasters meet at 6:30 p.m. twice month, on the second and fourth Tuesdays, in a meeting room at the north campus of North Platte Community College.

The next meeting will be Jan. 13.

The local Toastmasters club is a chapter of Toastmasters International, which has more than 270,000 members in 116 countries in 13,000 clubs.

Toastmasters’ clubs hone individual speaking skills and help develop leadership abilities - through evaluations, listening, mentoring, serving as club officers and filling roles in club meetings.

The Flatrock Toastmasters has nearly 20 members, with room for more. For more information, contact D. Robin Storer, the Flatrock Toastmasters’ Vice president of education.

Storer is the senior staff chaplain at Great Plains Regional Medical Center.
