North Platte man arrested after lab tests completeTell North Platte what you think

In mid-August, drug paraphernalia was seized from Joshua Malsbury, 24, of North Platte during a traffic stop.

The items were sent to the Nebraska State Patrol laboratory to be tested for drug residue. The results were recently received and were positive for both cocaine and methamphetamine, Police Information Officer Rodney Brown said.

Malsbury was arrested on Dec. 21 after an officer saw him driving a car near Rodeo Rd. and Mills.

Malsbury is charged with possession of controlled substances (both cocaine and methamphetamine. The charges are Class 4 felonies, punishable by up to five years in prison. His bond is set at $15,000.
