As of Sunday afternoon, teenager Maddy Pacheco, last seen wearing a North Platte Bulldog hoodie, is still missing.

There have been no breakthroughs, her mother Kim Reich-Streit told the Bulletin, although a different Omaha police detective was assigned to the case Friday.

Also, plans are underway to review a surveillance tape from a Target store next to the Panera Bread shop where Maddy was last seen. A Target employee told Reich-Streit the store would turn the tape over to police. Reich-Streit hopes the tape will show her daughter as well as anyone who with her leaving the Pandera shop.

Maddy disappeared from the soup and sandwich shop at 177th and W. Center in Omaha on Saturday, Dec. 7. She was wearing a blue Bulldog hoodie with yellow lettering when she stepped to the counter. The sweatshirt says Pacheco on the back.

She also wore black sweatpants and a dark Carhart jacket over the sweatshirt, her mother said.

Pacheco, 16, has brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5'8" tall and weighs 180 pounds. She has an industrial-style ear piercing. She is a student at Northwest High School.

Maddy liked to wear her hair in a messy bun and wear silly hand bracelets.

Her mother said she has put up "Maddy is missing" posters around Lincoln, including the area where two of Maddy's closest friends lived. She believes the two girls have been strangely calm about the disappearance.

Maddy's grandparents are Fran and Ed Pacheco and her father is Mitch Pacheco. They live in the North Platte area.

Anyone with information can reach family members through the Facebook page Facebook.com/whereismaddy, or by contacting the Omaha police, or by calling Kim at 402-403-2362.
