Maniohuta youth archers announce winter league Tell North Platte what you think

A fun winter archery league will operate for ages 5-15 who are accompanied by a parent at all times.

The league will consist of 150 round each night for eight nights. It will be held on Fridays at 5:30 p.m. from Jan. 10-March 7, with the exception of Jan. 24.

The league will be held at the Maniohuta indoor archery range, 204 Pheasant Run Road in North Platte. Scores will be kept but only for self-improvement, not for competition.

Participants do not need their own bow and arrows. The club has some to use only during the youth league.

The cost is $8 per youth archer for Maniohuta members. For non-members, the league fee is $40 per family, plus $8 per archer. The cost must be paid on the first night.

For memberships, contact Secretary/TreasurerJodi Kekahbah at 539-0836.

"The 2013 Winter League was a blast and we hope you can join us," coordinators said.

For more information, contact Youth League Coordinators Rob Smith, home - 532-2429, cell - 530-1249 or Amy Smith, cell - 530-6266.
