More than 50 entrants traveled the brightly-lit downtown bricks on Dewey St. Thursday night in North Platte's annual Christmas parade.

Santa made more than one appearance in the parade, showing he hasn't lost any of his zip since last year.

There were live reindeer, horse drawn wagons, a young beauty queen, candidates for office, girl scouts and much more.

The crowd enjoyed temperatures in the low 30s.
