The dark Carhart sweatshirt that Maddy was last seen wearing over a blue Bulldog hoodie.

As of early Thursday afternoon, Omaha teen Maddy Pacheco, last seen wearing a North Platte Bulldog hoodie, is still missing.

Leads are few and far between, her mother Kim Reich Streit said. She expressed disappointment in the efforts of Omaha police.

Reich-Streit said she personally went back Thursday morning to Panera, a soup and sandwich shop at 177th and W. Center, where her daughter disappeared on Saturday, Dec. 7. She asked the shop owner to review a surveillance video if they had one. They did, and the tape showed Maddy was wearing a blue Bulldog hoodie with yellow lettering when she stepped to the counter. The sweatshirt says Pacheco on the back.

Maddy also wore black sweatpants and what looked like a black Carhart jacket over the sweatshirt, her mother said.

Reich-Streit asked to speak with a new detective and expected to hear from him later Thursday. She said it is strange that Maddy's friends have not said much about the disappearance. She said Maddy and her closest friends talked frequently, up to 20 times a day, before Maddy disappeared, but police refused to question them more than once.

Maddy liked to wear her hair up in a messy bun and wear silly hand bracelets. She had an industrial-type piercing in one of her ears.

Messages have been posted on major media outlets, including the Lincoln Journal Star, the Omaha World-Herald, Nebraska KETV NewsWatch 7, the city of Omaha, WOW TV, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the North Platte Bulletin and other North Platte publications.

Hundreds of thousands of people have seen the posts.

Pacheco has brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5'8" tall and weighs 180 pounds. She is a student at Northwest High School and was last seen around 177th and Center in Omaha.

Her grandparents Fran and Ed Pacheco and her father Mitch Pacheco live in the North Platte area.
