RSVP to receive bank's giftTell North Platte what you think

The Ready to Serve Volunteer Program (RSVP) will receive a gift Tuesday from Nebraskaland National Bank, as part of the bank's 12 days of Christmas program.

The bank will provide the organization with assistance for its literacy initiative in North Platte Public Schools.

The presentation will take place at the RSVP office at 901 East 10th St. RSVP was formerly known as the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.

Community members were invited to share their nominations for those in need during the holiday season. Individuals, families or organizations were nominated on the bank’s facebook page or in person at one of the bank's locations.

Twelve wishes will be granted Dec. 9-20 to members and organizations of both Kearney and North Platte, Nebraskaland Bank spokeswoman Danielle Nichols said.
