Smith's offices collect cards for troopsTell North Platte what you think
 

Rep. Adrian Smith's offices in Nebraska collected more than 10,000 cards for the Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes program, he announced Tuesday.

Smith’s offices in Scottsbluff and Grand Island served as collection points for constituents to drop off postage-free cards.

Smith said he appreciates everyone who contributed to the effort, "especially Terri Hongsermeier and the employees of the Cabela’s Call Center in Grand Island."

"Together we have shown once again the commitment of Nebraskans to those in uniform who serve our nation," he said.
