Fur the Love of PAWS is excited to present a "Soup Fur Paws" supper fundraiser on Dec. 8.
The supper will be from 5-7 p.m. at The Eagles Club in North Platte.
Organizer Jenn Porter-Milne said it will be an exciting and soul warming event.
For a freewill donation, diners can choose from eight homemade soups (including some from the Bailey's American Cuisine, The Pop Corner and Heidi's Restaurant), garden salad, homemade cornbread or dinner roll, homemade desserts, and a drink.
Each diner will receive a free ticket for the "Furtastic Gift Certificate Basket" giveaway. The large basket will have a collection of gift certificates and cool prizes from many community businesses.
Additional tickets for the basket can be purchased to increase the odds of winning this prize, which will continue to increase in value, Porter-Milne said.
Proceeds will benefit "Fur the Love of PAWS Rescue" and efforts to save lives at the North Platte Animal Shelter and animals in need within the community.
