Donna's annual dinner set Dec. 6Tell North Platte what you think

For more than 10 years, Donna Girty-Cross provided a free Christmas dinner for the community.

Girty-Cross has now moved from North Platte, but the community dinner continues. This year the dinner will be held Friday, Dec. 6, at Harvest Christian Fellowship’s North West campus, 2607 Rodeo Road. As always, the dinner is free.

A turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served from 2-6 p.m. Santa is due to arrive at 5 p.m. and there will be live music throughout the afternoon by Ray Mullen and the Flatrock Irregulars.

This dinner is possible only through donations and volunteer help from businesses and individuals in the community.

To volunteer to help with the dinner, contact Carla Freeman at Harvest Christian Fellowship, 308-534-4563.
