Tanya R. Garza
Around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, a police officer on patrol saw a suspect, Tanya Garza, driving east on West 10th.
The officer was aware of probable cause to arrest Garza for possession of methamphetamine, based on a traffic stop in July 2013, in which a syringe containing suspected methamphetamine residue was in Garza's vehicle, police spokesman Rodney Brown said. The lab tests of the syringe were positive for meth when they were finally returned to North Platte on Nov. 18.
Garza was cited for driving without a Nebraska operator’s license as well as possession of a controlled substance, Brown said.
It was the fourth time she has been arrested since May, according to sheriff's records.
