Each fall, NorthWestern Financial Review honors outstanding women in banking.

Nominations are accepted for bankers who have made outstanding contributions to their bank, industry and community. The Nebraska Bankers Association nominated Schroll for this honor.

At age 29, Schroll was part of the team that founded Nebraskaland National Bank when in 1998, the bank opened for business with five employees and $3 million in capital.

At the time, Schroll was in charge of marketing, human resources, operations and technology.

Today, the bank has exceeded $500 million in total assets and now has more than 80 employees, 13 board members, and more than 100 local shareholders.

Schroll is currently an Executive Vice President, Senior Operations Officer of the bank and she is active in the community.

She serves on the board of directors of the North Platte Catholic School Endowment, North Platte Community College Foundation, Nebraska Bankers Association, the Downtown Association, and as a trustee of the Nebraska Children’s Home Society. She is also North Platte Noon Rotarian.
