State volleyball: Bertrand sweeps WallaceTell North Platte what you think
 

GRAND ISLAND-Undefeated No. 1 seed Bertrand flexed its muscle on Thursday night in the first round of the state tournament by sweeping Wallace 25-8, 25-17, 25-15 at Northwest High School.

Wallace ends its season with a record of 16-8 while Bertrand will play Stuart in the Class D2 semifinals on Friday.

Christina Daniels led the Lady Wildcats with nine kills and Alexandria Lundvall had 12 set assists.

Mollie Kaps and Mattison Peterson each had 10 kills to lead Bertrand (31-0). Brittany Shipp had a game-high 31 set assists for the Vikings.
