A North Platte woman was arrested Sunday night after lab tests showed she was carrying a plastic bag in July with methamphetamine residue.
Police arrested Kizzie Ross, 29, around 8:15 p.m. in an apartment in the 900 block of No. Dewey, police spokesman Rodney Brown said.
The Nebraska State Patrol crime lab determined that there was methamphetamine residue in a plastic self-seal bag that she had when she was picked up for failure to appear in July, Brown said.
Brown said the lab test results were received on Nov. 5.
Ross is charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth). She was transported to the Lincoln County jail, where she was processed and released to another jurisdiction, according to sheriff's records.
