HERSHEY-The Hershey volleyball team split a triangular at home on Tuesday to finish the regular season.
In the first match, the Lady Panthers (21-5) fell to Kearney Catholic 25-7, 25-12.
"We struggled in serve-receive and serving, the two things we worked on most this week," Hershey coach Amy Beyer said. "We have to get over the hump mentally and emotionally. A leader needs to emerge. (Kearney Catholic is a) good team but we could have competed much better."
Hershey did better in a 25-14, 18-25, 25-19 win over Broken Bow.
"We are battling our own confidence at times rather than focusing on the play at hand," Beyer said. "Our serving was much better than against Kearney Catholic. Maddie Seamann did a good job for us in all aspects of the game."
Maddie Seamann had 14 kills and four blocks in the victory over the Indians to lead the Lady Panthers.
