North Platte author Barbara Eymann Mohrman will return to the North Platte Public Library for a Brown Bag luncheon series program at noon Friday, Nov. 8.

Mohrman is the author of two books, Four Blue Stars in the Window and The Dust-Covered Days of Dorie Archer.

Mohrman has presented her book before at a library brown bag luncheon.

This presentation is “The Divine Wind,” which follows the four eldest Eymann boys as they move from the difficult Dust Bowl years into World War II.

Using vintage photos, Mohrman tells about their harrowing experiences in the Pacific and specifically their encounters with Kamikazes. She shares WWII memorabilia in a presentation that is both entertaining and educational, library spokeswoman Terri Johnson said.

There is no admission charge. Seating is limited to 70, so call the library at 308-535-8036 to reserve a seat by Nov. 7.

Attendees are welcome to bring a sack lunch. Water, coffee and tea will be provided.
