Elder Jolliffe sentenced for theftTell North Platte what you think

Ripples from the burglary of Kohler Trailer Sales on May 22 are still coming out of court.

Cody Jolliffe and Jacob Moser burglarized Kohler Trailer Sales during the night and took several items, including a large safe and a large sum of money.

Cody Jolliffe’s father, Charles T., of North Platte, pled no contest Friday to a misdemeanor charge of theft and was sentenced to a year of probation.

According to Deputy Lincoln County Attorney Jennifer Wellan, the younger Jolliffe gave some stolen cash to his father, but the elder Jolliffe did not notify law officers. When investigators approached him about the money, he produced an envelope containing cash and gave it to them.

Cody Jolliffe was convicted and sentenced on Sept. 16 to 7-17 years for his part in the burglaries of not only Kohler’s, but also Ideal Linen and a home south of North Platte.
