Dawson County 4-H leaders, members and families will be recognized for their accomplishments at the 68th annual Dawson County 4‑H achievement barbecue on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 5:30 p.m. at the Lexington Senior High School West Auditorium, according to Extension Educator Bruce Treffer.

Treffer said 4‑H Leader Length of Service pins; 4‑H member trophies, medals and special awards; and three, five and 10-year 4‑H member pins will be presented.

It is suggested that 4-H families enter through the west doors of the west auditorium of the Lexington Senior High School.

The barbecue is sponsored by Dawson County Cattlemen and the Dawson County 4‑H Foundation.

Members of the National Pony Express Association Nebraska Division and Agricultural Society directors will be present to again serve the large gathering with the beef prepared by the BBQ Co.

Dawson County Fair Premium checks will be available for 4-H members at the barbecue.

All 4‑H leaders, members and their families are encouraged to attend.
