Halloween Walk set at Centennial Park Retirement VillageTell North Platte what you think

Centennial Park Retirement Village in North Platte is hosting a Halloween walk from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Oct. 31.

Centennial Park Activities Director Kathy Hagan urges children to bring a canned food item and receive a special treat of a homemade caramel apple.

Centennial Park Retirement Village will donate the canned foods to a food pantry to help the pantry get stocked before the holidays.

“I recognized there was a need at the local food pantry and with the holidays coming up, it just made sense to try and help out,” Hagan said. “Our goal is to deliver a good variety of canned goods to the food pantry."
