Police: No foul play in baby's deathTell North Platte what you think

Police and paramedics rushed to the 1200 block of N. Bailey Thursday evening where a three-month-old boy was unresponsive.

Police and paramedics were dispatched at 7:18 p.m. where the infant boy, Braxton Curtis, was unresponsive, police investigator John Deal said.

Paramedics immediately took the boy to Great Plains Regional Medical Center, but lifesaving measures were unsuccessful and the boy was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later, Deal said.

The initial investigation has revealed no signs of foul play, Deal said. An autopsy is scheduled Thursday, as required by state law in the case of any death to someone under the age of 19 if the cause of death is not readily apparent.
