Lady Knights softball team ready to rake leavesTell North Platte what you think

The North Platte Community College Lady Knights softball team will pick up rakes in coming weeks to help residents sweep up the autumn leaves that recently began falling.

The project is designed as a fundraiser. There is no set fee for yard raking, but reciprocal donations to the Lady Knights softball team are encouraged and appreciated.

Residents who wish to have their yards raked should call NPCC Lady Knights softball coach Janelle Higgins at (515) 419-5801 after 3 p.m. on weekdays or anytime on weekends; or contact her by email at higginsj@mpcc.edu.

Raking leaves for area residents is just one of several projects the Lady Knights have planned to raise funds.

Another upcoming fundraiser will be “Spirit Hunting in a Ghost Town” at the Lincoln County Historical Museum during Halloween week.
