VB: Hershey sweeps CozadTell North Platte what you think

COZAD-The Hershey volleyball team went on the road Tuesday night and swept Cozad 25-18, 25-11, 25-17.

Hershey coach Amy Beyer said that her team played a well-rounded match against the Haymakers.

“We served the ball pretty efficiently and consistently,” Beyer said. “It was one of our more focused and disciplined matches. We did not have the lapses that we sometimes have.”

Maddie Seamann led the Lady Panthers (12-3) with 11 kills. Maegan Hiatt followed with seven kills. Brooke Munsen also had five kills in the victory.

Bobbi Brannan had 21 set assists for Hershey and Shawnie Stone-Swedberg had six assists.

Beyer said that Brannan and Stone-Swedberg did an especially good job of setting the ball.

“We had good distribution of our hitting,” she said.

Hiatt and Munsen each had 16 points serving to lead the Panthers. Brannan also had 14 points.

Hiatt also led Hershey with eight digs while Brannan had six.
