The world-famous WWII Canteen will be replicated with coffee and a full meal on Nov. 8-9 at the Lincoln County Historical Museum.

People are invited to wear an historical costume and enjoy the atmosphere of the era, organizer Judy Oliver said.

The food will be made with recipes from the Canteen cookbook, including sandwiches, cakes, cookies, fried chicken and live music of the era.

The meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8 and again at noon on Saturday. Soldiers in uniform will be made welcome.

Tickets are $20 each. A limited number of seats are available.

Proceeds go to the Lincoln County Historical Society.
