A pro-life demonstration will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6 in downtown North Platte.

Starting at the corner of Fourth and Jeffers, people will stand on streets in each direction from the intersection, forming the shape of a cross. They will carry signs urging passers-by to consider the effects of abortions.

The “Life Chain” demonstration has been held for 21 years in North Platte and nationwide since 1987.

Several North Platte churches participate.

The chain will be held rain or shine in North Platte and in several locations in Nebraska, including Imperial, Broken Bow, Arnold, Lexington and McCook.
