The North Platte Community College Departments of Theater and Music will hold open auditions for their fall musical production of “Godspell” from 7-9 p.m. Oct. 9-10 in Room 115 at the south campus.

The play requires 3-5 female actors and 3-5 male actors of any age.

Auditions are open to the public as well as to current college students.

No experience is necessary to audition. Those auditioning should prepare 16 bars of a song to perform.

Actors may be invited to a callback audition where they will be required to sing a song and recite a monologue from the show, which will be made available at the audition.

Rehearsals of “Godspell” will begin on Oct. 17 and continue from 6-9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; however, rehearsal times are flexible. Performances are set for 8 p.m. Dec. 4-6 and at 2 p.m. on Dec. 7.

For more information or if these times do not work for you, special arrangements can be made by contacting Ritch Galvan at (308) 535-3767 or by e-mailing: galvanr@mpcc.edu.
