WOOD RIVER-North Platte St. Pat's remained unbeaten on Friday night by beating Wood River 48-14.

The Irish (5-0) jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. Colin Pieper scored the first touchdown and the second came on a touchdown pass from Alex Harms to Drew McClellen.

St. Pat's scored three more touchdowns in the second quarter to lead 35-0 at halftime.

The Irish finished Wood River (1-3) off in the second half to get another convincing victory.

St. Pat's has a bye next week before playing rival Cambridge at Knights of Columbus Field on Oct. 11.
