Mail: Weber wins RSVP quilt Tell North Platte what you think

Jessica Weber of North Platte is the winner of the “Lone Star” Quilt that was raffled by the North Platte Area Ready to Serve Volunteer Program (RSVP) on Tuesday, Sept. 25.

The quilt was hand-quilted by the Flying Needles Quilt Group and bound by Wilma Neal.

RSVP would like to thank the community for supporting the quilt raffle. Special thanks to Alco, Gary’s Super Foods, Walgreens and Shopko for hosting the raffle booths and to everyone who purchased a ticket.

Thank you to the RSVP volunteers who staffed the raffle booths.

The money raised will be used to recognize and thank all the volunteers that help in the community through the RSVP program, and to purchase books to be donated to each elementary student in the North Platte Public Schools District.
