Glennon speaks about the irony and tragedy of America’s water crisis, and the heady extravagances and everyday inefficiencies that are sucking the nation dry.

Glennon argues that we must begin to treat water as a valuable, exhaustible public resource. Using an economical perspective, Mr. Glennon offers suggestions on what we can do to reclaim and conserve this finite resource and why we must look at water as both a commodity and fundamental human right.

Glennon is the author of the book Unquenchable: America’s Water Crisis and What To Do About It.

Admission is by season membership in the Town Hall series.

For membership, please contact Betty Guynan at (308) 530-8448 or Doris Wells at (308) 532-4550.

Upcoming Town Hall Lectures are: "A Morning with White House Chef Walter Scheib" on April 4, and trial consultant Jo-Ellan Dimitrius on "Reading People." Dimitrius will speak May 7.
