Aiming at home run record

Game two proved to be a huge one for North Platte's catcher Wiseman, as she clubbed two home runs to propel North Platte to a 9-1 victory in five innings.

Wiseman has already tied the school record for home runs in a single season with 4.

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed North Platte to put away Kearney. North Platte benefited from an error, an RBI single by Rylie Cotton, and an RBI single by Keck in the first inning.

In the second inning, an error, a two-run home run by Wiseman, and an RBI single by Cotton fueled North Platte's offense.

Marissa Ramos recorded the win on the mound for the Lady Dawgs. She struck out four, walked two and gave up five hits.

North Platte was sparked by Wiseman and Cotton, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.

In the fourth inning, North Platte scored on Wiseman's second home run of the game.

Next, North Platte will be in action Saturday as they host the North Platte Invitational at the Dowhower Softball Complex.
