Before sentencing, Lincoln County Judge Kent Turnbull told Cox that it doesn’t matter to the court who someone knows or is related to, everyone gets treated as an individual. Turnbull referred to Cox’s prior DUI convictions in 2010 and 2011, for but agreed to accept the plea deal from the county attorney.

Turnbull sentenced Cox to six months probation, fined her $500 and revoked her license for 60 days.
