Two well-loved former television stars will speak in North Platte at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12.

Two of Hollywood’s most celebrated, trusted and loved personalities, Bob Eubanks and Jamie Farr, come together for a unique program that takes the audience behind-the-scenes of some of their greatest work, which includes Eubanks’ Newlywed Game and Farr’s M*A*S*H.

Eubanks and Farr will speak downtown at the Neville Center for the Performing Arts (the old Fox Theater.)

Admission to the lecture is through membership in the yearly series, which is just getting underway. The cost of membership is $60 for four lectures. There is an optional luncheon with a question and answer session at the Quality Inn after each lecture.

Betty Guynan is the membership chairperson and she can be reached at (308) 530-8448 or memberships can be purchased before the lecture on Sept. 12.

The North Platte Town Hall Lecture series is the only lecture series of its kind between Omaha and Denver, organizers say.
