At around 11 a.m. Tuesday, a 45-year-old North Platte man complained to police that his domestic partner Tamela Morrison, 49, hit him with a hammer at their home in the 1900 block of West 18th.

The man said the woman attacked him earlier that morning. He said she hit him with the hammer after an argument, and hurt his arm and leg.

Police officers met Morrison at the home and determined there was probable cause to arrest her.

She was taken to jail, charged with felony domestic assault, terroristic threats and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, police spokesman Rodney Brown said.
