Staci J. Ponte
Staci Ponte was charged with methamphetamine possession Friday based on the results of a test of the residue that police found in May in her vehicle.
On May 2 police officers investigated a disturbance involving Ponte, 39. Police spokesman Rodney Brown said Ponte’s behavior indicated she was under the influence of a controlled substance.
Brown said Ponte gave consent to search her vehicle, and drug paraphernalia containing suspected methamphetamine residue turned up.
Nebraska State Patrol crime lab said the residue tested positive for meth, and Ponte was arrested and jailed on Aug. 30, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
Her bond is set at $10,000.
