Elementary enrollment strong at St. Pat'sTell North Platte what you think

Overall enrollment is strong, especially at the elementary level at St. Patís Catholic schools, Supt. Kevin Dodson told the board at a regular meeting Aug. 20.

There are still spots available in both the 3-day and 2-day programs at Little Leprechaun Preschool, Dodson said.

In discussing preliminary enrollment figures, Dodson said that final numbers will be available in the next few weeks. Those numbers fluctuate slightly until all contracts are signed and students are in the buildings.

The school board approved the teaching contract of art instructor Tim OíNeill, who will take the Art and Speech position at St. Patrickís High School.

Upcoming school activities include Little Leprechaun Preschool registration on Aug. 28-29, the McDaid Ice Cream Social/Open House on Aug. 29, the first home football game and Irish football 75th anniversary celebration on Aug. 30, and the first home volleyball game on Sept. 5.

The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 17 in the St. Patís High School library.
