Archery shoot set for Sept. 8Tell North Platte what you think

A fun 3D archer shoot is scheduled from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8 at the Maniohuta Archery Range near Lake Maloney.

The cost to participate is $5 for ages 10 and under; 410 for ages 11-16; $10 for adult members and $12 for adult non-members.

Events include “running” deer, flu-flu arrow shoot and interesting 3D shots, organizers say.

Participants must bring their own bow and arrows. Kids need to be accompanied by an adult. This is a fun shoot only — no competition and no medals.

Call Rob at 308-530-1249 for more information.

Maniohuta Archery Range is located near Lake Maloney — go south of North Platte on U.S. Highway 83 to South Maloney Dr., go west about a mile to the orange “archery range” arrowhead sign, turn left into the range.
