The Rails Across America art show will be held once again downtown at the Art & Gift Gallery in North Platte.

All Rail related art entries of any media can be entered from 11 am-6 pm from Sept. 3-7 at the gallery, which is a 516 No. Dewey.

Cash prizes will be awarded. Entry forms are available at the Gallery during regular business hours Tues-Sat. from 11 am. -6 p.m.

An open reception will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the gallery. The show will be open during Rail Fest weekend from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20-22.

This competitive Art Show is open to entry by any artist. We require that all entries be Railroad related and the original work of the artist submitting the entries, and that no piece has been fashioned from art/craft kits or created in a workshop. Also, any art piece which has been previously entered in a Rail Fest Art Show, will not be eligible for entry in the 2013 show.

Mail in entries are acceptable with suitable packaging for return shipping and accompanied by a pre-paid return shipping label.

Entry fees are $15 for up to three entries and $3 each for two additional entries. The limit is five entries per artist.
