"This is fun, it reminds me of my youth" said Marjorie Miller of Maxwell, as music by the likes of Ritchie Valens and Bobby Darin permeated the air.

Classic car owners from Cozad, Gothenburg, North Platte, Hershey and Maxwell raised their hoods and swapped car stories.

"We have been very pleased with the turnouts the past two Thursdays" cruise night promoter Randy Stubbs said. "Provide a venue, sprinkle in some fun and invite this car crowd and they will come."

Mid Plains Community College brought their restored El Camino that will be given away in September.
