The Creativity Unlimited Arts Council in partnership with NebraskaLand National Bank has been awarded a $25,000 economic development grant to help fund the renovation of the Prairie Arts Center downtown.

NebraskaLand National Bank will present a check to the Creativity Unlimited Arts Council at the future Prairie Arts Center at 11 a.m. on Friday.

The grant is from the FHLBank, a wholesale financial institution of which NebraskaLand National Bank is a member.

The grant is awarded the grant through its "Joint Opportunities for Building Success (JOBS)" program. JOBS helps financial institutions throughout Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma promote jobs and economic growth in their communities.

Michael B. Jacobson, President and CEO of NebraskaLand National Bank comments “We are pleased to have played a role in the funding of this grant to the Prairie Arts Center. This grant will stimulate the economy, boost the community and give the project much needed funds.”
