Demolition rubble, with St. Pat's church in background

Bricks and roof tiles from the old St. Pat's McDaid Catholic school building are available, even though the building itself on East Fourth has been reduced to rubble.

Catholic schools foundation director Wendy Dodson said bricks will be available to buy at the St. Patís Parish BBQ on Aug. 25.

Also, the school endowment office has vintage clay roof tiles available for purchase, with funds to support the St. Patís building campaign. And, decorative corbels from the building will be auctioned off at the annual GREEN fundraiser on Oct. 12.

Call the office if interested, 308-534-5939.

The date of the St. Pat's BBQ has been clarified. It will be held on Aug. 25.
