• Lincoln County Historical Museum (2403 N. Buffalo Bill) – Speaker and author Jeff Barnes talks about The Forts of Nebraska. 7 p.m. Free admission.

• Cody Park - Live music by the North Platte Municipal Band. 8 p.m. No charge.

• North Platte Community Playhouse – James and the Giant Peach Children’s Theater. Performance from 7-8 p.m.

• The Depot Restaurant – Dine to the gypsy jazz music by Blue Swing 6-9 p.m.

• Maranatha Camp – Waterfront Days from 2-5:30 p.m. BBQ at 5:30 p.m. $8 per person; $40 per family.

• North Platte Community Playhouse – James and the Giant Peach Children’s Theater. Performance from 2-3 p.m.

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds – 4-H horse show continues, starts 8 a.m.


Tuesday, July 23

• Maranatha Camp – Waterfront Days from 2-5:30 p.m. BBQ at 5:30 p.m. $8 per person; $40 per family.


Wednesday, July 24

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5015 Rodeo Rd) - Lincoln County Fair begins. Featuring full line up of car races at 7 p.m. Daily attractions include exhibits, video game tournaments, movie night, dunk tank, kids ag tent, face painting, wild animal shows and vendors. • Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – adult dance lessons. 7-8 p.m. $5 per person.

Featuring demolition derby at raceway at 7 p.m. Free concert featuring Nashville Reject at pavilion at 9 p.m. Daily attractions include exhibits, live music, video game tournaments, movie night, dunk tank, kids ag tent, face painting, wild animal shows and various vendors.


Saturday, July 27

• Lakehouse (209 W. North Lake Rd., Lake Maloney) – Hullabaloo outdoor music featuring five bands, including the Kris Lager Band. 2 p.m.-1 a.m. Tickets $15.

• A to Z Books - 7-10:30 p.m. Open Mic Nite. Established performers and newcomers. Free-will donation. Refreshments provided or bring your own.

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5015 Rodeo Rd) - County fair continues. Featuring Casey Donahew Band at 9 p.m. featuring Logan Mize and Nashville Reject at 7 p.m. at Great Western Bank Arena. Daily attractions include exhibits, live music, video game tournaments, movie night, dunk tank, kids ag tent, face painting, wild animal shows and various vendors.
