An all-day music festival was announced Monday at Lake Maloney, within days after a two-day blues festival was cancelled on the west side of North Platte to the disappointment of fans.

The Hullabaloo will be held Saturday, July 27, featuring the Kris Lager Band of Omaha plus five other groups.

Lager was a favorite at the well-known South Loup Blues Festival was held every summer in Arnold until 2011. The Lager band is well-received at periodic appearances at the Rail Bar in North Platte.

Tickets are $15. Music begins at 3 p.m. and continues until 1 a.m., organizer Catherine Martinez said. The event is outdoors, with camping, food and beverages available.

The lineup is: Rascal, DJ Relic, BASStoven, Funk Trek, Brad Cordle Soul Jam and the Kris Lager Band.
