Timothy R. Leeper
Timothy R. Leeper, 23, of North Platte, was arrested Wednesday on a variety of drug related charges.
Leeper was arrested Wednesday at around 10:45 a.m., when North Platte Police were informed about drug activity in a house in the 900 block of N. Bailey.
Police obtained a search warrant and found syringes, pipes, bongs, marijuana, small baggies and a digital scale. They also found a crystal substance that tested positive for meth, police spokesman John Deal said.
Also, a gun was found in the house, as well as a small BMX style bicycle was inside the house that had a North Platte Police Department tag on it. The number on the tag was checked and showed the bike had been reported stolen.
Leeper is in jail on a $25,000 bond for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of stolen property, trespassing, possession of narcotic equipment and possession of a gun during a drug violation.
Leeper’s past record shows a DUI charge, late payments on a court-ordered fine as well as failures to appear, but does not show previous drug offenses.
