Thursday, July 11

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – adult dance lessons. 7-8 p.m. $5 per person.

• Ft. Cody Trading Post (I-80 & US 83) - Live music by Doug Rees and Brad Godfrey. 6-9 p.m. $5, kids under 12 free. (This Thursday music series continues until early August. Season pass $20 at Kittle’s Music.)

• Lakehouse (209 W North Lake Rd) - Live music by Laurie Morvan Band and Rascal. 8-11 p.m.


Friday, July 12

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds - Independence celebration with fireworks display, watermelon feed and live music by the North Platte municipal band. 8 p.m. No charge.

• A to Z Books - 7-10:30 p.m. Open Mic Nite. Established performers and newcomers. Free-will donation. Refreshments provided or bring your own.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live rock music by Surveying the Damned, Dollarhyde and Slantpiece. 9 p.m. Cover charge.

• Cody Park – Movies in the Park presenting the animated comedy, “Hotel Transylvania.” Starts at dusk (9:16 p.m.).


Saturday, July 13

• Lake Maloney (main boat ramp area) – Carp-o-Rama family fishing camp teaching how to catch, clean and cook carp. Event includes a fish lunch and instruction on fish printing art. 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Free event. Nebraska Park Entry Permit and Nebraska Fishing Permit required.

• The Depot Restaurant – Dine to the gypsy jazz music by Blue Swing 6-8 p.m.

• Lincoln County Raceway (Fairgrounds, W. Rodeo Rd) - IMCA - Modified - Stock Car - Hobby Stock & Sport, Mod Sport Compact – special lightning sprints. Gates open 5 p.m. Races start at 7 p.m. Admission $10.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live country music by Along For the Ride. 9 p.m. Cover charge.

• Hershey Ball Park – Outdoor movie: “Letters to God.” Starts at dusk (shortly after 9 p.m.) Free will donation.


Tuesday, July 16

• Children’s Museum (314 N. Jeffers) – Monthly program/craft workshop. 10:30 a.m. Members free, non-members $4.


Wednesday, July 17

• Pop Corner (1847 W. A) – Live piano and song by Shermie. 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

• VFW Post 1504 (2100 E. Fourth) – bingo, total of 24 games, starts at 6:45 p.m.

• Senior Center (901 East 10th) - Dance to Ray Mullen. 7-9:30 p.m. $4. Please bring finger food.

• Maranatha Camp – Waterfront Days from 2-5:30 p.m. BBQ at 5:30 p.m. $8 per person; $40 per family.

• North Platte Community Playhouse – James and the Giant Peach Children’s Theater. Performance from 2-3 p.m.


Tuesday, July 23

• Maranatha Camp – Waterfront Days from 2-5:30 p.m. BBQ at 5:30 p.m. $8 per person; $40 per family.


Wednesday, July 24
