Legion Auxiliary to meet Tell North Platte what you think

The American Legion Auxiliary will have a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. on July 10 at the American Legion Post in North Platte.

All ladies who wish to thank a veteran for our freedom is invited.

The American Legion and auxiliary have no paid employees all the money is spent on veterans.

If we would get the new Legion Rest home, we have lot of work to do, organizer Ruth Frohman said.

"Come to the meeting let us know what you want to do for the veterans," she said.

Meeting are held on the second Wednesday of each month. The August meeting will be at 7 p.m., September will be at 7:30 p.m. and attendees will vote then for the time they want to hold meetings.

"Remember to thank a veteran," Frohman said.
