Catholic schools: Faculty and student openingsTell North Platte what you think

The North Platte Catholic Schools Board of Education met June 25 for their monthly meeting.

Faculty changes were the main item on the agenda, as the board voted to accept two late resignations.

Superintendent Kevin Dodson said he is currently accepting applications for the middle-high school English position formerly held by Mrs. Nicole Burg.

The second opening is at Little Leprechaun Preschool. Dodson announced that Mrs. Robyn Younghans will take over the position formerly held by Allison Greenwood. Dodson added that there are openings for students in the preschool program for the fall semester. Any interested families should contact Jennifer Winder at 532-1874.

The “Forward in Faith” capital campaign for school improvements will kick off at the Back to School Mass service on Aug. 18.

There is no board meeting in July. The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 20 in the St. Pat’s High School library.
