The weather was good for the last week of Oregon Trail Golf Course's second annual Jr. Golf Clinic on the course near the Sutherland Reservoir.

A five-person scramble was held on Monday for age 7-17 students from Sutherland, Hershey, Paxton and North Platte.

Proceeds from the clinic will be used to improve the course driving range.

Organizers extend special thanks to Godfather's Pizza and the Sutherland Chamber for continued support for this project. Many parents and volunteers were on hand to help during the month-long clinic and/or to assist the tournament.

Pat Adle, certified golf instructor, Sutherland High School's new golf coach, Bo Cribelli and volunteers Janell Beveridge and Karma Trusty dedicated their time to the cause, spokeswoman Barb Baldridge said.

Thanks to Barb Baldridge for this information.
