• Wild West Arena – Summer Jam Concert Series – Kid Rock with special guests Lee Brice and Thomas Rhett. 8 p.m.

• Wild West Pavilion - After concert party 11 p.m. - Live music by Blue Collar Band.

• Memorial Park - Municipal band performs a concert. 8 p.m. No charge.

• Stage Dance Studio (Sixth/Walnut) – Craft and vendors with live entertainment all day. Dance competition at 1 p.m. Event from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

• The Depot Restaurant - dine to live gypsy jazz music by Blue Swing. 6-8 p.m.

• Pop Corner (1847 W. A) – Live piano and song by Shermie. 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

• VFW Post 1504 (2100 E. Fourth) – bingo, total of 24 games, starts at 6:45 p.m.

• Lakehouse - (Lake Maloney inlet) Karaoke by Rascal DJ, 7-9 p.m.

• Senior Center (901 East 10th) - Dance to Doug Powers, Roger Anderson, Phil Merrill, Larry Kellogg. 7-9:30 p.m. $4. Please bring finger food.


Thursday, June 27

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – adult dance lessons. 7-8 p.m. $5 per person.

• Ft. Cody Trading Post (I-80 & US 83) - Live music by country singer Reggie Shaw with opening show by Tiger and the Freedom. 6-9 p.m. $5, kids under 12 free. (This Thursday music series continues throughout the summer. Season pass $20 at Kittle's Music.)

• Scout’s Rest Ranch – Tenth annual Gift of Hope Fundraiser. Prime rib dinner with drinks auctions. 5-10 p.m. Tickets: $25.

• A to Z Books - 7-10:30 p.m. Open Mic Nite. Established performers and newcomers. Free-will donation. Refreshments provided or bring your own.

• Eagles Club (620 N. Chestnut) – Twelfth Eagles No. 2839 banquet and Calcutta. Prime rib or shrimp meals available at 7 p.m. Calcutta and auction to follow.

• Rail Bar - Live music by James Burke, CD release party. With Nicole Hardy 8:30 p.m.- midnight. $3 cover.

• Maranatha Camp – July 4th celebration from 2-11 p.m. including open waterfront, BBQ and sweetshop. Fireworks show at 10 p.m. $8 per person; $40 per family.

• Sutherland High School Commons – Pie and ice cream social. Second annual perfect pie contest. Bring one pie to serve and one to judge.3-5 p.m. Free will offering.

• Lake Maloney (main boat ramp area) – Carp-o-Rama family fishing camp teaching how to catch, clean and cook carp. Event includes a fish lunch and instruction on fish printing art. 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Free event. Nebraska Park Entry Permit and Nebraska Fishing Permit required.
