A series of thefts and drugs arrests intensified Tuesday, when more charges were pressed against Jason Sullivan of North Platte.

Sullivan, 29, was charged Tuesday with using stolen property, including cash, to buy a car and other items, including illegal drugs.

Sullivan was already in jail. He was previously arrested June 6 for possession of meth.

At the time, sheriff's investigators seized a Black Honda Passport that they said was purchased with proceeds from the May 23 burglary of Kohler Trailer Sales. Investigators searched the vehicle and found suspected methamphetamine in the car. Sullivan claimed he has disposed of all the property he received from the burglary. Sullivan was officially charged with disposing of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

Unofficially, at least seven people are now charged in connection with the burglary at Kohler's.

The investigation of the thefts and related drug crimes is actively continuing, a sheriff's spokesman said Wednesday.
