Man jailed after fracas on N. Bailey Tell North Platte what you think

A fight brought police to the 900 block of N. Bailey Monday night, where three people were cited for disturbing the peace.

Police arrived around 11:45 p.m. and found about seven men and women in a loud argument, information officer Rodney Brown said.

Three of the people there claimed that Ted Cook, 39, Sarah Eitl, 25 and Amber Morrissey, 28 showed up, wanting to fight.

Cook, Eitl and Morrissey were told to leave several times but they refused, Brown said. Following the investigation, officers determined there was probable cause to cite all three, Cook, Eitl and Morrissey, for disturbing the peace.

While officers were there, Cook continued to yell obscenities and refused to follow directions to calm down or leave.

Eventually, Cook was arrested a second time for disturbing the peace and transported and jailed at the Lincoln County Detention Center.

Eitl and Morrissey were cited and released.
