The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said Kohler was burglarized sometime during the night or early morning, when suspects broke in and took several items, including a large safe and an undisclosed amount of money.

Sheriff’s investigators were reportedly closing in on Jolliffe, 29, the prime suspect, when he and Moser, 24, were stopped Saturday evening near North Platte by the Nebraska State Patrol for driving a car with a fictitious license plate.

The two are already facing charges for other large burglaries. They were arrested in early March and charged with a series of thefts, including the safe and contents from Ideal Linen in North Platte and a safe and cash from a home on E. Kanab Road south of Brady, where approximately $20,000 was taken, according to sheriff’s investigators.

But Jolliffe got out of jail May 2 after he paid 10% of a $35,000 bond. He has a long record of charges – he’s been booked into jail 20 times since 2004, with most of the charges between 2004-06.

Moser was released March 22 from jail after serving just nine days for the previous burglaries. He posted $2,500 – 10% of $25,000, according to jail records.

At this time, both men are jailed without bond, pending arraignment in court.
